An Open Letter to Expose the Harms of Political Bullying in Georgia GOP Circles
Silence is No Longer an Option for Georgia Conservatives
To our fellow Republicans, patriots, Christians, and defenders of liberty:
In recent months, we have watched with growing concern as one individual, empowered by an email list and a vendetta, has smeared, slandered, and spiritually manipulated honest people in our movement. She has accused others of hidden loyalties, questioned their faith, and impugned their character—often without evidence, often behind the veil of “receipts,” and always in the name of “truth.”
This letter addresses a growing concern that has affected many grassroots activists and leaders across Georgia. It is written in response to a pattern of conduct associated with Debbie Dooley, whose actions—documented and corroborated by multiple individuals and now publicly archived online¹—have caused significant distress and division within our political circles.
Let us be clear: disagreement is not disloyalty. Questioning someone’s political platform does not make them a traitor to their faith. And silencing dissent by labeling others as “fringe,” “jihadi,” or “anti-Christian” is not righteous—it is reckless.
We write this letter not in defense of one person, but in defense of everyone who has been dragged through the mud for refusing to bow to gossip, deception, or fearmongering. We stand against the politics of personal destruction, even when wrapped in patriotic colors and punctuated with Bible verses.
It is time to say it plainly:
Weaponizing someone’s race or religion to score political points is wrong.
Invoking faith to silence criticism is manipulative.
Cherry-picking Scripture to justify slander is not discernment—it is spiritual abuse.
We are conservatives. We believe in law, in liberty, and in leadership that is humble, accountable, and true. We welcome transparency. We welcome debate. We reject anonymous accusations, smear campaigns, and self-appointed prophets who claim to speak for God while refusing to answer for their own words.
This party, this movement, and this nation need real leadership—not performance.
To those who have remained silent, we understand. No one wants to be the next target. But silence is no longer an option. When one person uses intimidation, innuendo, and spiritual gaslighting to shape the future of the GOP, she’s not building a coalition—she’s poisoning it.
We call on all principled conservatives—young and old, new and seasoned, of every background and denomination—to stand up and say:
We choose truth over tactics. We choose faith over fear. We choose unity over division.
Let us build a Republican Party worthy of the values we claim to defend.
If you’ve been affected by this behavior, or if you want to lend your voice to this call for integrity, we invite you to share your story:
Respectfully,
Jeremy McKeown
On behalf of those who believe in decency, integrity, and the future of our movement
